Jemal the man?

According to the News of the World, Crewe have bid 100,000 for Wolverhampton Wanderers transfer listed striker Jemal Johnson.

They reported that we have made a bid to end the American's nightmare spell at Wolves and that he would be a replacement for Luke Varney. At 6ft he would be just what we need.

He has had a spell on loan at Leeds last season and was a trainee with Premiership Blackburn Rovers. The 22 year old has scored 16 senior goals.

Jonhson played but didn't score in a 7-0 romp for Wolves 2nd string at Holyhead yesterday.

Would be an excellent signing from what I hear. Let's hope Dario pulls it off.
