League One Guide - Hartlepool
Hartlepool won promotion from League Two last season, they finished 2nd behind champions Walsall. They will be looking to consolidate next season and avoiding relegation will be regarded as a successful season next year.
Ritchie Barker who got sent off on the final day of the 2006/07 season will be their main goal threat. He scored 24 goals last season and will be looking to make a similar impact in the league above.
It`s been a quiet summer so far for Hartlepool, just three new arrivals and several players have left the club including Eiffon Williams who has rejoined Wrexham. They need to get points on the board early otherwise relegation will be on the cards.
