'If It's Football, It's Vital'

End is nigh for trialists

All of the trialists have now come and gone. A whole host of them have been trying to win deals and have featured against Liverpool and either Quorn or Alsager.

Ryan Lynch, Jomo Faal-Thomas, Greg Stones have all been told that their future lies away from the Alexandra Stadium. None of them managed to impress sufficiently to be offered a permanent deal by the club.

Stones and Lynch were probably the pick of them, whilst both did okay neither did enough to suggest they will add anything to a new look Crewe side. It is unlikely that their will be many more trialists coming in as the serious pre-season work begins now ahead of the new campaign.

A trialist who will is due at Reaseheath is Coventry player Patrick Suffo. He is due at the training complex for his credentials to be checked and may feature at Forest Green next Tuesday.
