'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Barnard Link Continues

It looks as if the Alex are set to ask Tottenham about Lee Barnard again, as revealed here on Vital Crewe first on Sunday.

The club have been on the look out for a new striker since Luke Varney left for Charlton in a 2.5million deal.

Vital Crewe believes that the club are in advanced stages of getting their striker target and he could arrive as soon as the end of this week, as revealed here on Sunday. The name of the striker, as yet, is unknown.

Lee Barnard, a young striker from Spurs, is one name that continually pops up but the Alex were snubbed in their first bid for him this summer. Whether Spurs will have a change of heart having signed Darren Bent is unknown.

You'd have adecent player if you got him. He's 23 made a few 1st team appearences and scored plenty of goals in our reserves. Supposedly it's a loan deal your after, I can't see us saying no if it was to happen.
