Gerrard & Carragher set for run out

Crewe get their 2007 pre-season fixtures underway when Champions League runners up Liverpool come to town.

The fixture arranged as part of the deal which took Danny O'Donnell to the Alexandra Stadium will take place this Saturday (July 14th) with a 3pm kick off.

As reported earlier in the week on Crewe Vital it looks likely that a strong Liverpool side will make the short trip to Cheshire.

England players Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher are expected to take part as is Spanish international Xabi Alonso.

Ukranian Andriy Voronin is expected to make his Liverpool debut after joining the club on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen.

Tickets for this match are still on sale from the ticket office at 12 Adults, 9 Senior Citizen's and 5 for Under 16's
