'If It's Football, It's Vital'
New season, new match-ball
The official match-ball for the 2007/08 football league season has been released today. The new balls represent the latest in mitre`s football technology, and come complete with a brand new distinctive design.
The 24 teams in the championship will all have their own unique ball for their home games in the forthcoming season. Full details can be found on the Mitre website. Mitre has been the official match ball suppliers for a number of seasons now, and they also introduced the winter Yellow match day ball several season`s ago.
To launch the idea to the footballing community, Mitre and the Football League are producing an exciting viral video entitled 'Pass It On`, featuring players, managers, mascots and fans from each club.
