Play-Offs Are Possible

There seems to be a split on what to expect next season after we asked 'What are our realistic ambitions for 2007/08?' in our recent site poll.

Whilst 26% thought play-offs were there to be had, a good 19% of voters said a relegation scrap was probably on the cards. There was also 16% looking towards promotion and 13% hopeful on winning the league - meaning over half of voters are expecting a top 6 finish.

Full results:

Champions 13%
Promotion 16%
Play-offs 26%
Upper Mid-Table 18%
Lower Mid-Table 8%
Relegation Scrap 19%

There is now a new poll up asking how many pre-season games you will be attending this summer. You can see the pre-season schedule here.

With some careful planning, considering who you've picked up the playoffs are very possible. Look forward to Crewe following us back up into the Championship!

I think our squad is as good as most in this league at the moment. Steve Holland's also brought in some fresh input and some of these new signings would never have happened without his say, hopefully he can have a similar impact with tactics and team selections. Injuries and the like will play a big part in our season no doubt, but hopefully Holland will also put that right with his new look training schedule.
