Bopp finalises Crewe move

Ukrainian midfielder Eugen Bopp has today completed his move after successfully passing a medical at the club`s training ground. The player had already agreed terms and will now join up with the squad for pre-season training on Monday 2nd July.

The former Rotherham player suffered a serious ankle injury and has recently been back in his adopted homeland of Germany recovering. The 23 year old midfielder will add height and experience to the midfield engine room.

Meanwhile, the club confirm that everybody bar Irish midfielder Michael O`Connor is fit ahead of a hectic pre-season schedule which includes the visits of Premiership sides Liverpool and Derby.

The young midfielder has a slight groin/hernia problem and the club have confirmed that it is a minor issue and are hoping he will be fit for the opening game against Brighton on Saturday 11th August.
