'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Liverpool Friendly Confirmed

The football club has confirmed that Liverpool will bring a team to Gresty Road on Saturday 14th July with a 3pm kick off.

Liverpool also brought a team to play us last season. The fixture ended in a 1-0 defeat with Alex loan target Craig Lindfield scoring the only goal of the game.

Meanwhile, friendlies at Quorn and Alsager have been moved to Wednesday 18th July and will form a double header.

It is expected the squad will be split in two for these two fixtures.

Fixtures confirmed are as follows:

JULY

Saturday 14th
Crewe Alexandra v Liverpool [3pm]

Wednesday 18th
Alsager Town v Crewe Alexandra [7:30pm]
Quorn v Crewe Alexandra [7:30pm]

Tuesday 24th
Forest Green v Crewe Alexandra [7:45pm]

AUGUST

Wednesday 1st
Crewe Alexandra v Derby County [7:45pm]

Saturday 4th
Crewe Alexandra v Stockport County [3pm]

Presumably it'll be a mix of reserve and youth players?

Will be a mixture of first teamer's, reserves and youth team players. Ticket prices likely to be £12 adults for the Liverpool game.
