Taylor Signs for Crewe

Crewe have today completed the signing of Nottingham Forest ex-Wales international striker Gareth Taylor on loan until the end of the season. The ex-Man City striker will bring a plethora of experience to Crewe's young side, including experience of a Championship relegation battle last season with Forest, which ultimately proved fruitless. Despite this, Taylor's overall record in the Championship is promising having played for Burnley in addition to Nottingham Forest, scoring 32 goals in 80 Championship appearances. 32-year old Taylor had been deemed surplus to requirements at the City Ground and has been transfer-listed following the signing of Grant Holt.
