QPR Enquire About Jonah

Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway has made an enquiry about the availability of Crewe's Steve Jones. Jonah has been largely disappointing this season and Ian Holloway hoped Crewe would let him leave on a free. However, unsurprisingly Crewe were unwilling to do so and instead stated they valued Jonah at 300,000. With QPR in financial trouble, Holloway was unable to agree to this fee claiming that it was 'silly money' for a player who is out of contract at the end of the season. It now appears unlikely that QPR will pursue their interest this month though Stoke have also been credited with an interest. Dario stated earlier this month that he wouldn't be looking to sell Jonah on the cheap as he felt that if Jonah was to find his scoring touch again, he would become a massive asset to a side low on confidence.
