Nicky Maynard To Cardiff?
Cardiff have had a bid for Crewe striker turned Nicky Maynard according to the clubs Vitalfootball website.
Vital Cardiff have reported that a bid was made for the academy graduate but rejected by Crewe. Last month Vital Crewe reported that Dario was not looking to sell either Maynard or strike partner Luke Varney, but with the change in management, another year in League One and dwindling attendances it would be surprising to hold on to all our prized assets.
Dario said: I'm not getting involved in any speculation.'
'I would think we might get enquiries for Varney but I'm not expecting Maynard to be going anywhere.'
