Crewe Strikers Future Unknown

Crewe Alex striker Rodney Jack faces an uncertain future at Gresty Road. Manager (for the moment) Dario Gradi has admitted that he is still undecided as to whether the fans favourite has done enough to earn another years contract.

Jack, who returned to the club as cover for Luke Varney and Nicky Maynard has had a decent season, though with it cut short due to hamstring injury, coupled with an apparent lack of pace (compared to how it was) may see Jack leave the club again.

Dario said: 'I've not spoken to Rodney yet. He is someone we need to speak too. We will send out letters of confirmation of offers next week and then they will have a month or so to decide what they want to do. The retain list is still being discussed.

'We haven't decided on a few of them. Even though they may have been here a while, it is never that easy to decide. Rodney is one of those because he is not as quick as he once was.
