Match Preview: Yeovil Town vs Crewe Alexandra

Tomorrow we travel to Huish Park to face Yeovil Town. They have beaten Accrington Stanley, Coventry City and Chesterfield (as well as Exeter in the EFL Trophy), they have draws against Cheltenham Town, Morecambe and Port Vale whilst they have lost games against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the EFL Cup and in the league against Luton Town, Forest Green Rovers, Crawley Town, Grimsby Town as well as their last 2 games against Colchester United and Newport County.

During the summer, they have made 8 permanent signings with former Crewe midfielder James Bailey arriving and being appointed as captain whilst experienced defender Stephane Zubar joined but was released after getting an injury in August. Rhys Browne, Jake Gray, Connor Smith, Alefe Santos, Jordan Green and Daniel Alfei are the other players that arrived on permanent deals.

They have also made 5 loan signings with Sid Nelson, Matt Worthington and Olufela Olomola have all signed until January whilst Sam Surridge and Keston Davies signing full-season loans.

Crewe Alexandra Team News:

There are no new injury worries for David Artell ahead of the long trip to the South West with James Jones is back in training and at least a couple of weeks away whilst George Ray is still a couple of months away from returning.

Yeovil Town Team News:

Right-back Daniel Alfei is the only absentee for the Glovers after rupturing his cruciate ligament against Port Vale last month.

Last season`s fixture at Huish Park saw the hosts win and complete a league double having already won 1-0 at the Alexandra Stadium earlier in the season. Matty Dolan gave the hosts the lead on the half-hour with a 25-yard free-kick before Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro heading home a free-kick from the left-wing on the stroke of half-time. The third of the game came 20 minutes from time with a corner taken short with Otis Khan finishing at the second attempt after Ben Garratt kept his initial header out.
