'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dario Keen to Loan Midfielder

Dario Gradi has revealed he will bring in a midfielder once the loan window reopens on Wednesday. During the January window, Crewe had a loan offer accepted from Burnley for midfielder John Spicer, though the 23-year old rejected moves to Crewe amongst others.

Despite an impressive performance by Michael O'Connor in yesterday's win at Northampton, Dario is still keen to bring in a midfielder, and the club have already made contact with a specific target.

Dario revealed, 'We know of a midfielder we can borrow, so we will start the ball rolling next week. The problem with loan deals is the players expect to play, but we have a few days to look at that. I'd like to think we'll do something in the next two weeks.'
