Crewe Sign Woodards
Crewe have completed the signing of Exeter defender Danny Woodards for a fee of £30,000 plus 20% of any future sale. Woodards rejected Exeter's offer of a new deal, forcing the Grecians to cash in on the 23-year old.
Woodards, an ex-Chelsea trainee, has also played for Wycombe and played in a trial game for Yeovil last night. However, Crewe nipped in for the 5'11 defender and have since agreed terms. Woodards can play either at centre-back or right-back.
