Reaseheath Review 04/04/17

In our regular weekly round-up column, we look at the U18's home game against Coventry, last night's U23's game at Bristol City from earlier as well as looking at how our loanees have done for their loan clubs over the past week.

U18 - Crewe Alexandra 1-4 Coventry City
2 goals from Dan Smith as well as from Billy Stedman and Jordan Ponticelli for Coventry saw off the Alex's U18 team.

Our U18 team play their final game of the season this Saturday (April 8th) at Millwall (kick-off is at 1pm).

U23 - Bristol City 1-4 Crewe Alexandra
A comfortable win for the U23s yesterday at Ashton Gate with goals from Alex Kiwomya, Ross Woodcock, Callum Saunders and Perry Ng all coming after Freddie Hinds had given City the lead.

The next U23 game is a home game against Leeds next Monday at the Alexandra Stadium with a 1pm kick-off.

Team: Dawber; Woodcock, Ng (c), Poscha, Pickering; Kiwomya, Wintle, Finney (Lundstram), Kirk, Saunders, Udoh

Loan Report
No game for Josh Lundstram this weekend as Sandbach United's game at Ashton Town was postponed. Sandbach have 2 games in this forthcoming week, tonight they face Litherland Remyca whilst they host Carlisle City on Saturday.

Lewis Reilly started both games for Radcliffe Borough as they played home and away games against Ossett Town. He scored from the penalty spot in the away game on Tuesday night as the teams drew 1-1 whilst Ossett won 4-0 on Saturday.

Luke Walley played for Whitchurch in their 7-3 away win at Daisy Hill last Monday (they came from 3-0 too) but their game on Saturday away at Carlisle City was postponed. They travel to St. Helens Town on Thursday evening before hosting Holker Old Boys on Saturday.

Ross Woodcock played for Alsager in their 3-0 home defeat to Chadderton last Tuesday, also in Alsager's 2-1 home defeat to Charnock Richard and missed last night's 3-2 defeat at Daisy Hill as he was playing for our Under-23s as mentioned above. Alsager host the City of Liverpool FC on Saturday.
