Trio Check on Otsemobor
Preston, West Brom and Oldham are monitoring Crewe full-back Jon Otsemobor. The Rotherham-reject has so far refused to sign a new contract with the club, claiming that he would reassess his options in the January transfer window. However, the club have since made the full-back available for transfer, and set an optimistic asking price of £400,000.
Otsemobor is out-of-contract this summer and as he turns 24 before then, is free to leave for nothing. Whilst any suitors would almost certainly be unwilling to meet the asking price, a bid of £200,000 may be enough to tempt Crewe into doing business.
