'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rodgers Transfer Listed

Crewe have transfer listed striker Luke Rodgers, it was revealed at this evening's EGM. The forward wants first team football, and having fallen below Nicky Maynard, Luke Varney, Michael Higdon, Lee Matthews and Rodney Jack in the pecking order, is unwilling to sign a new deal at the present time.

With his current deal due to expire this summer, the club have transfer listed the forward to allow him to seek first team football elsewhere in January. The asking price will be around 50,000, with Jim Smith's Oxford favourites to land Rodgers and also believed to be willing to stump up the cash.
