Clearout to Begin

Dario Gradi has revealed that versatile defender Paul Bignot will be allowed to leave the club permanently. Although the youngster has been recalled from a loan spell at Kidderminster to help the club through an injury crisis, Dario has said that Kidderminster can sign Bignot if they wish. However, it may be the case that Bignot remains at the club for the remainder of his contract, though he has already been told that the club won't renew it beyond the summer.

Bignot is one of many players out of contract this summer. Dario is expected to have a clearout of fringe players who have failed to make the grade, with players such as Mark Roberts, Pavol Suhaj, Rob Lloyd, Mat Bailey, Ritchie Sutton, John Dillon and Mark Carrington expected to be included in the clearout.

Meanwhile, loanee Isaac Osbourne has returned to Coventry to receive treatment on an injury, though Dario has revealed that he has no plans to attempt to re-sign the midfielder when his loan expires next week. However, Dario has said that he would like to keep defender Andy Taylor at the club for as long as possible, but doubts whether Blackburn will allow him to stay with us beyond January.
