Trialist Signs for Stanley

Trialist Signs for Stanley

Accrington have completed the signing of 20-year old winger Shaun Whalley from Witton Albion. Whalley has agreed to join on loan until January when the move should become permanent.

Stanley boss John Coleman suggested that Crewe wanted to sign the winger, who had instead opted to join the League Two outfit for first team football. However, it is believed that the club were largely undecided as to whether to offer the youngster a contract.
