Crewe hope to keep striker
Crewe Alexandra will do everything they can to hold onto teenage striker Max Clayton, according to Director of Football Dario Gradi.

Clayton was previously of interest to Manchester United a couple of years ago, when they also snapped up fellow Crewe striker Nick Powell in a £3m deal.
"I'd like to think there's still a chance Max may re-sign here and see how things go," Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke. "But we're a little bit away from that yet."
The young Alex attacking prospect scored only twice this season before breaking his ankle and being sidelined for five months.
"The first thing to see is who wants to buy him and how much they're prepared to pay for him. And that won't be easy as he hardly played last season," Gradi continued. "We'd like to have thought we could have got £3m for him too. He hasn't played, and we haven't picked him, so that's unlikely to be the figure now."
