Crewe Capture Osbourne
Crewe have completed the signing of Coventry midfielder Isaac Osbourne on a one-month loan. The 20-year old was set to join the Alex on loan earlier this week, but a slight knock in training jeopardized the move. The midfielder is described as an industrious and athletic ball winner.
Osbourne is a product of Coventry's youth academy and has made 22 appearances since making his debut at 16. Having won Coventry's 'Young Player of the Year Award' in 2005, Osbourne went on to establish himself in the Sky Blues' first time. However, a bad knee injury in January curtailed his development.
Osbourne will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's game against Blackpool. The youngster is also eligible to play in the Carling Cup game against Man Utd as he didn't come off the bench in Coventry's cup exit at Hereford.
Crewe's Assistant Manager Neil Baker had previously revealed, "The loan is all agreed, but the player we want took a knock in training earlier in the week and needed treatment. We've known for a couple of days he was coming, but we're just waiting to tie the deal up."
