Billy Boy Transfer Listed
Crewe Alexandra have announced that Billy Jones will be made available for transfer in the January transfer window. Although the club's management staff continue to try to persuade Billy to sign a new deal to allow us to recoup a proper fee for him, the club have had to alert other club's to his availability in advance of the transfer window.
Crewe's board have reportedly decided on an acceptable fee, believed to be between £1 million and £1.5 million. Billy is currently struggling with a hamstring injury and faces a fight to be fit in time for the Manchester United game.
Cardiff remain the only club to have officially registered their interest in Billy with the club, though rumoured interest from Manchester City appears to have turned Billy's head.
