Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis intends reviewing the club's recruitment policy to better cover any future losses of leading players.

"We are actually looking to improve our recruitment set-up" - Steve Davis
Davis want to add more qualified scouts
to his overall network in order to lessen the duties of both himself and assistant Neil Baker, who are regularly attending other games during the week.

"We are actually looking to improve our recruitment set-up, so that when we lose a player we have more options," Davis told Crewe's official website. "I want to us have watched players over months and just be better with that.

"At the moment we are going out and having to make a quick decision on players, so it may be that we need more scouts in certain areas to give us a better overview."
