Late disappointment for Davis

Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis was understandably very disappointed to witness a late injury-time equaliser from Bury in a 2-2 draw at Gigg Lane.

"I was disappointed to concede the two goals we did and especially a last minute penalty" - Steve Davis
The visitors were twice pegged back after goals from Max Clayton and substitute Brad Inman threatened a victory, until Tom Soares and Andy Bishop with a 94th minute penalty replied.

"With the position we were in 2-1 up going into the stoppage time, I am disappointed not to have won the game," Davis admitted to Crewe's official website. "I was disappointed to concede the two goals we did and especially a last minute penalty.

"We knew it would be a tough game because Bury have nothing to lose and are fighting for their lives," he continued. "We stood up it well but I am disappointed to be conceding the type of goals we are at the moment and they seem to be coming from wide areas and that needs to be addressed."
