Points dropped says Davis

Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis came away describing it as "two points dropped" following the weekend 1-1 draw at Notts County.

"I had a go at them at half-time and said we could do even better" - Steve Davis
The Alex led at the interval through a Luke Murphy penalty but on loan Manchester United youngster John Cofie snatched an equaliser early in the second-half.

"That's two points dropped," Davis admitted to the Crewe Chronicle. "We were the better team in the first-half and played some good football and caused them problems.

"I had a go at them at half-time and said we could do even better, create more chances," he added. "I was looking for perfection but we couldn't reproduce it and that has been the case a few times this season. I don't know why that is but we have to conquer it as a team."

The Railwaymen are next in action when hosting Bournemouth in their rearranged game on Tuesday evening.
