And whoever eventually comes through over the two games can look forward to challenging either Leyton Orient or Southend United in the final at Wembley.
"It is a big game," Leitch-Smith told Crewe's official website. "There is over 30,000 fans there and it is a chance for us to go there and prove how good we can be. As a footballer you want to be involved in big games like these."
Leitch-Smith, 22, has only just returned to action following an extended absence with an ankle injury and came off the bench to score the winner against Scunthorpe United at the weekend.
