Alex target capital gains

Crewe Alexandra are travelling to the capital this weekend for their latest clash with Leyton Orient.

"We know what we have to do and may play a bit differently" - Steve Davis
The Alex are currently waiting on ever-present defender Harry Davis, who remains a doubt for the game due to struggling with a bout of flu.

Strikers Max Clayton and AJ Leitch-Smith contest a starting place following the return of the on loan Lauri Dalla Valle to Fulham. Fellow loanee Brad Inman could earn himself a recall in midfield.

"We have watched them and had Leyton Orient watched and they are a good side," manager Steve Davis told Crewe's official website. "We know what we have to do and may play a bit differently to stifle them and create some opportunities ourselves.

"They are always very organised, are solid at the back and are difficult to beat," he continued. "They don`t tend to make too many mistakes, defensively especially. They have a pace and presence up front."

The hosts are though missing suspended defender Anthony Griffith after being sent-off during their midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory against Yeovil Town.

Meanwhile, striker Kevin Lisbie is also understood to be ruled out with the effects of a hamstring injury.
