Finnish Under-21 international striker Lauri Dalla Valle has returned to Fulham at the end of his loan spell to Crewe Alexandra.

"We could look at it again in two or three weeks time, if our own don't produce" - Steve Davis
Dalla Valle struck five times in ten appearances for the Alex and manager Steve Davis has not yet ruled out re-signing him before the end of the month.

Crewe have recently been boosted by the return from injury of AJ Leitch-Smith while leading prospect Max Clayton continues to wait for his opportunity.

"Lauri has returned to Fulham but that is still left open with Fulham," Davis told Crewe's official website. "I just felt that we need to give AJ and Max a go.

"Lauri has done very well for us and scored some really important goals," he added. "He has scored a goal every other game which is a decent record. We could look at it again in two or three weeks time, if our own don't produce."
