Davis happy to tick over
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis wasn't expecting too much transfer activity either way during January.

Meanwhile, a final decision is still to be reached on Fulham striker Lauri Dalla Valle, who made the final appearance of his existing loan at the weekend.
Otherwise, skipper Luke Murphy has been regularly attracting the scouts to Gresty Road this season and amid speculation of him perhaps rejoining his former midfield partner Ashley Westwood at Aston Villa.
"I don't envisage getting anyone else in at the moment but it is still early," Davis told Crewe's official website. "It is only the first week into the window, so we don't want to be caught out. I am already ticking the days off on the calendar."
