Successive home games have Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis wanting to build upon their recent excellent 3-1 victory at Preston North End.

"We have back-to-back home games coming up now and it is important that we build on our recent success" - Steve Davis
The Alex host struggling Bury this weekend and then the much-improved AFC Bournemouth at Gresty Road seven days later, with Davis expecting his charges to continue their raised levels in front of their own supporters.

"We had a great result at Preston but I've never been one for looking back," he explained to Crewe's official website. "I am always looking forward to the next game and I was the same when I was a player.

"We had a good result and a good performance but that has gone now and it is all about getting a result against Bury," Davis warned. "We have back-to-back home games coming up now and it is important that we build on our recent success."
