Defender on way back
Crewe Alexandra should be welcoming full-back Kelvin Mellor back into action within a fortnight.

However, the weekend visit of struggling Bury to Gresty Road is set to arrive to early for his recall.
"Kelvin is back with the group," manager Steve Davis confirmed to Crewe's official website. "He trained yesterday and was fine. We may choose not to risk him this weekend and allow him to get two weeks` training under his belt first."
