Martin in it for keeps
Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Alan Martin has finally signed a new eighteen-month deal with the club.
The 23-year-old had been on a short-term deal since the summer but has become first-choice this season in the absence of the injured Steve Phillips.
Former Scottish Under-21 international Martin has appeared in every league game so far following his debut at the start of the campaign, despite Phillips recently returning to action.
Martin has also spent time with Ayr United and Barrow in the past after originally beginning as a trainee at Leeds United. He now remains at Gresty Road until at least 2014.
