Steady introduction the way forward

Manager Steve Davis aims to slowly integrate new loan signing Brad Inman into proceedings at Crewe Alexandra.

"We will continue to assess him and gradually think about bringing him into the group" - Steve Davis
The 20-year-old has arrived on an initial month's loan from Newcastle United and featured in a goalless draw for the Under-21 side at Nottingham Forest earlier in the week.

Davis was always keen for additional cover in midfield for skipper Luke Murphy and Abdul Osman, who already sustained an ankle injury earlier in the season.

"Brad did fine for the Under-21s on Monday and we thought he would because he has been in good form at that level for Newcastle," Davis told Crewe's official website. "We will continue to assess him and gradually think about bringing him into the group. He will continue to train and settle in."
