Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis was pleased with the contribution of defender Gregor Robertson during the thrilling draw at Sheffield United, particularly in the final third of the pitch.

"Robbo does offer us something in advanced positions" - Steve Davis
The Scot was involved in the third goal at Bramall Lane as Chuks Aneke earned the visitors a shock 3-2 lead after earlier trailing by a couple of goals.

Robertson, 28, originally arrived from Chesterfield in the summer but has only recently returned to the side following injury to Kelvin Mellor.

"Robbo has come back into the team and does offer us something in advanced positions because his crossing with his left foot is usually very good," Davis told Crewe's official website. "He helped create the third goal on Tuesday night and got forward whenever he could."
