Manager fired us to win - Pogba

Weekend match-winner Mathias Pogba said a half-time dressing-down from manager Steve Davis helped spark the superb weekend recovery against Colchester United.

"It is good for the manager to be angry some times" - Mathias Pogba
The visitors comfortably led 2-0 after only half-an-hour before second-half goals from recent signing Lauri Dalla Valle, Luke Murphy and Pogba himself eventually turned the contest on its head.

"He was angry and talked to us to make sure we showed what it meant on the pitch," Pogba told Crewe's offcial website.
"It is good for the manager to be angry some times and we went out in the second half and tried to win for ourselves, the fans and for him. It was a great comeback by us and we were happy we did it."

Pogba's goal was his third in three games and seventh of the season since arriving from Conference side Wrexham over the summer.
