Recently on loan Manchester City forward Harry Bunn hasn't been forgotten at Crewe Alexandra according to manager Steve Davis.

"He's out of contract in the summer and we will stay in touch with him" - Steve Davis
The nineteen-year old displayed promising signs at Gresty Road until then suffering serious cruciate knee ligament damage back in September.

Such was its severity it remains unclear whether the teenager will be able to play again this season. But with his contract up with the league champions in the summer, Davis is keen to continue to monitor his situation.

"He came to our game last Saturday and we got him in the dressing room with the lads again," Davis explained to This is Staffordshire. "He's had his first operation which went all right and he's got another this week to repair his cruciate.

"He looked quite bubbly and positive about it and it nice to see him back down here," he added. "He's out of contract in the summer and we will stay in touch with him."

Crewe recover for victory

Crewe Alexandra came from behind for a first win in sixteen games and to drag Doncaster Rovers down into League Two with them for next season.

Kick-off was delayed by half-an-hour due to a waterlogged playing surface and Tommy Rowe gave the visitors the lead through a deflected strike.

However, youngster Callum Ainley equalised with his first senior goal before the break and Marcus Haber and substitute Brad Inman added second-half efforts.
