Crewe Alexandra midfielder Abdul Osman and striker Max Clayton are both back in training and could be fit to face Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup this weekend.

Summer signing Osman has shaken-off an ankle problem while teenager Clayton is progressing well following the effects of a groin injury.

Meanwhile, winger Ryan Colclough should be able to resume training in the next couple of weeks after recently suffering a fractured jaw.

Otherwise, striker AJ Leitch-Smith is still ruled out with ankle ligaments trouble and wasn't expected to be back involved until the end of the month.

For the visitors, ex-Torquay United and Bristol Rovers forward Jo Kuffour is already ruled out with the same problem and joins Grant Basey, Marvin McCoy, Danny Foster, Leon Johnson, Matt Bloomfield, Jesse Kewley-Graham and Dennis Oli on the sidelines.

Dean Morgan is also doubtful for the visitors but Matt McClure and QPR loanee Bruno Andrade could both return.
