Teenage winger Ryan Colclough has signed a three-year professional contract with Crewe Alexandra.

"I am delighted to have been offered my first professional contract and couldn't wait to sign it" - Ryan Colclough
The seventeen-year-old originally progressed through the famed youth academy at Gresty Road and made his senior debut in the recent draw with Leyton Orient.

Unfortunately he then suffered a fractured jaw against MK Dons in the next game which has since ruled him out of action until after Christmas.

"I am delighted to have been offered my first professional contract and couldn't wait to sign it," Colclough told Crewe's official website. "The manager came to me and said that I had been doing well and that I had earned the deal. I just cannot wait to get going again and to sign the contract has given me a lift too."
