Chuks happy to stay

Midfielder Chuks Aneke is delighted to have recently had his loan spell from Arsenal extended.

"I am delighted the club have extended my loan I really want to stay as long as I can" - Chuks Aneke
The nineteen-year-old netted his first goal for the club against Hartlepool United at the weekend.

That follows him being sent-off in only his second appearance at Stevenage and a three-match ban which followed.

However, Aneke has since agreed a further month at Gresty Road and is prepared to remain there for as long as he is required.

"I am delighted the club have extended my loan I really want to stay as long as I can as long as I am playing and I'm happy to play for Crewe," he told Alex's official website.

Aneke is set to be involved in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Shrewsbury Town later tonight after being given permission to play by the Gunners.
