No blame game from AJ

Striker AJ Leitch-Smith has insisted that nobody blamed on loan midfielder Chuks Aneke for the loss of a couple of points at Stevenage at the weekend.

"He said sorry to all the boys but it wasn't his fault" - AJ Leitch-Smith
The Arsenal youngster was sent-off with the visitors leading 2-1 and their opponents eventually fought back to deny them a second away win of the season at the Lamex Stadium.

"I think before Chuks went off we were in control and making chances," Leitch-Smith told the Crewe Chronicle "But when he went off it was a different game.

"He said sorry to all the boys but it wasn't his fault," he added. "I think he slipped and his feet went over the ball. It wasn't a bad challenge."

Leitch-Smith had already struck twice inside the opening eight minutes to take his overall return so far to four goals this season.
