Keeper trains with Alex

Veteran former Liverpool goalkeeper Tony Warner is currently training with Crewe Alexandra.

"He is happy to come here and keep fit while he finds a club" - Steve Davis
The 38-year-old won't be earning a contract with the club as they are already well-served in that area. But manager Steve Davis says he would certainly recommend him elsewhere after seeing him in action.

Warner has also spent time during his career with the likes of Hull City, Tranmere Rovers and Fulham and recently returned from a playing spell in Australia.

"He knows we haven't got anything for him here, but he is happy to come here and keep fit while he finds a club," Davis told Crewe's official website. "We wanted to help him, he has vast experience and that can only rub off on our own goalkeepers."
