Striker ready for scan

Striker Harry Bunn was due for a scan on his knee today to fully assess the extent of the damage following the weekend draw with Tranmere Rovers at Gresty Road.

The teenager was carried off on a stretcher during the second-half when falling awkwardly as he chased onto a long through ball from skipper Luke Murphy.

Medical staff at the club were waiting for the swelling around his knee to reduce after he hobbled away from the stadium on crutches

Bunn is currently on a six-month loan deal from Manchester City but would return there should the damage be extensive.
