We were decent - Davis
Manager Steve Davis described it as a "decent performance" as Crewe Alexandra shared a goalless draw with leaders Tranmere Rovers at Gresty Road.

"I didn`t think it was a drab 0-0 draw, but there was no one on top of their game, or clinical enough to get the goal we needed," Davis told Crewe's official website. "We managed to keep a clean-sheet against the club at the top of the league, so I was pleased with that aspect of the day.
"Again it was a decent performance against a team that is unbeaten in the league and that comes on the back of beating Coventry here, so we are heading in the right direction."
Crewe suffered an unfortunate knee injury to recent signing Harry Bunn during the game, which is set to force Davis back into the loan market as striker Mathias Pogba is still a couple of weeks away from returning.
