Alex travel in Trophy

Crewe Alexandra have been handed an away tie in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The Alex must travel to League One rivals Shrewsbury Town in the week commencing 8th October.

The pair were both promoted at the end of last season and had already received a bye in the first round of the competition.
