Premier test for Crewe
Crewe Alexandra have been handed an attractive tie against Premier League opposition in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
The Alex travel to fellow play-off winners from last season West Ham United, who open their own Premiership campaign this weekend at home to Aston Villa.
The Hammers will be looking to improve on last season's efforts when they were surprisingly disposed of at the first hurdle by Aldershot Town.
It will be the first time the two sides have encountered one another since a 1-1 draw in the Championship back in 2005.
The tie will be played week commencing 27th August.
