Cup success is Harry's game
Defender Harry Davis is hoping for a glorious cup run for Crewe Alexandra this season.
Having being knocked out in the opening round against Preston North End last year, Davis was expecting a much better showing this time
around.
Alex host their new League One rivals Hartlepool United at Gresty Road as the Capital One Cup gets underway this coming weekend.
"We haven't had a cup success for a while so we want to try to get through a few rounds and get a big tie," Davis told the Crewe Chronicle. "It is a bit weird that our first game of the season is in the cup but we are ready."
Davis, the 20-year-old son of manager Steve, made 48 appearances for Crewe last season on their way to eventual Wembley glory in the play-offs.
