Crewe hopeful over injury
Crewe Alexandra hope the injury to latest signing Abdul Osman is not as serious as initially feared.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian had to be withdrawn from the weekend 1-1 friendly draw with Tamworth following a heavy challenge.
But Alex's medical staff are hopeful he will still be available for this weekend's Capital One Cup opener against Hartlepool United, despite bruising around his shin and ankle.
Former Northampton Town midfielder Osman recently joined Crewe on a two-year contract after impressing for them on trial.
