Further bid to keep defender
Crewe Alexandra have made a further bid to keep hold of young defender Kelvin Mellor following recent interest from Derby County.
Alex have reportedly made a third improved offer to the 21-year-old in the hope of keeping him at Gresty Road.
Mellor has made eighteen appearances since joining the club from Nantwich Town three years ago.
He has also had loan spells at Newcastle Town, Stafford Rangers, Leek Town and Icelandic side IBV Vestmann as part of his ongoing development.
